Stop at a grocery in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg on the way up, and grab charcoal if you plan to grill — the fire pit is gas, so the grill is the only thing you’ll need to bring fuel for. Once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive back down.

Upstairs is one oversized bedroom — the footprint of two — with a private balcony. The full bathroom is right across the landing at the top of the stairs.

The only full bathroom is upstairs, off the bedroom; there’s a half bath on the main floor. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap and a hair dryer are provided.
Three beds for four guests, so you arrange it however suits — kids upstairs on the trundle, or downstairs on the sofa bed with the main floor to themselves. Two couples can take a level each. Perfect for a couple, a small family, or two pairs traveling together. The cabin has 1 bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms total.

**Location**
Summit Up sits in Sky Harbor. Gatlinburg is 7 miles away, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood 11 miles — all about 20 minutes. Between the two, it’s the perfect base for your private mountain getaway, with the Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee within easy reach.
**Please note:** You’re staying in our home, not a hotel — we kindly ask you to treat the space with respect, and to let us know right away if anything needs attention so we can help promptly.
**Laundry**
There is no washer or dryer at Summit Up. Most of our guests stay three to five nights and pack for the trip, which works out fine — but if you’re planning a longer stay, there’s a 24-hour laundromat in Gatlinburg, about 20 minutes away.
**Construction Nearby**
A cabin is being finished on the neighboring lot, about 100 yards off through the trees — closed in now, with only finishing work left. No work is allowed before 8am.
**Pet Allergy Alert**
Our cabin is dog-friendly. While our cleaning team is thorough, it’s impossible to remove every trace of pet hair — please consider this if anyone in your group has severe pet allergies. Pet fee: $85 total for up to two dogs.
**Security Camera**
We have one actively recording camera overlooking the driveway which records video and audio. Device is on the exterior of the property.
**House Rules**
1. Streaming apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Hulu, etc.) require your own account and login. The Roku provides 50+ free channels with no login required.
2. No parties or events.
3. No vape pens, smoke, incense, candles, or illegal substances in or around the cabin.
**Road Access**
The final approach is part of the experience — a scenic mountain drive with one short, steep stretch near the cabin. Front-wheel-drive vehicles handle it comfortably, and there’s plenty of parking when you arrive. We recommend a 4×4 or AWD vehicle, especially in winter (typically Dec 15 – Feb 15) or if snow/ice is forecast, as mountain roads can be challenging in inclement weather.

**Bears**
Keep all food inside, car windows up, and the deck gate latched. Bear sightings happen — enjoy them from a safe distance.
**Hot Tub Cleaning**
For your safety and enjoyment, the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and refilled between guests, so it may not be fully up to temperature on arrival — adjust as needed (never above 104°F).
